A couple of months ago, when there were fewer restrictions, I took the opportunity to visit a close friend in Ottawa. I hadn’t left the house in months prior, so this vacation was long overdue. I’ve been to Ottawa before as a teenager with my family but experiencing it like this was surreal.

Due to COVID, the streets were empty, and I had the city to myself. Aside from our trio of friends, there was no one out in the streets. So we roamed around, and I was in my element, just snapping away. With no people in sight, it was a photographer’s dream. I got to capture Ottawa in all its gothic glory. After seeing a city like Ottawa that represents Canadians worldwide as the capital, I’m proud to be a Canadian. I hope you enjoy the gallery of photos I was able to capture on my trip.
